Fleur de Sel or Flower of the Sea comes from the coast of Brittany in France. Fleur de Sel is hand harvested not unlike tea leaves. It has long been considered to be queen of all salts by famous chefs and cooks everywhere. Each crystal of Fleur de Sel is just like the bloom of a lacy, opaque snowflake that crystallizes on the surface of the water. Clean and light, it features a nice crunch and no aftertaste. Our Fleur de Sel contains the finest and most mineral rich crystals and should be sprinkled on dishes just before eating. Great on : grilled meats and seafood.
